The film is soft, and the images are nice, but no more according to me, history is all null and void.. This movie is awesome, emotional, funny, exciting, one does not get bored for a single minute. I have not seen the previous version so I couldn't compare, but I've read the book, and it is true that it is missing several characters but they are not essential. King Schultz is a bounty hunter dandy and good speaker come straight from Germany. His mannerisms, his accent and his look give him a credit infinite, which do somewhat regret the course of events! Beside him, Jamie Foxx is the other star of the cast. He plays Django, a former slave, but the rapidity of emancipation and adaptation to the world is debatable. This evolution represents the guideline of the film that you can share in three differentiated parts: chained, unchained and unleashed. The second (the longest) is the most successful and the last half-hour from a little lollipop! For all that, it would be inappropriate to speak ill of this film damn successful that transforms the image naive prince charming rescuing his damsel. Quentin Tarantino is a filmmaker attractive (by his films, eh!) but I was not always convinced. His style, though it has its limitations on certain ways of filming or to present scenes of dialogues long and tend to have neither head nor tail. The Boulevard of Death is the perfect example, too crazy and twisted to stay in my record. In Django Unchained, the scenario is much more regular. Despite the 2h44 film, the pace is impeccable and I do not remember any scene boring. For all that, one does not lose the paw of the director.
